Install a Smart Solenoid Valve and you will be able to water without any wire and control unit.
REPLACE AN EXISTING SOLENOID
It very simple to replace your valve solenoid with Smart Solenoid, just unscrew the old one and screw in Smart Solenoid (here shown on a DT100 RainBird valve)

Open your phone App within 30ft from SmartSolenoid and you can program all his watering functions and monitor his operations  (you can control up to 16 SmartSolenoids).
